DISCUSSION on THE B.U.D.O.

No discussions on the BATS could be complete without an address of THE BUDO. It is, as always, an acronym that stands for: Technological Handling Environment, Bats Utility Defense Ordinance. The Budo is a super-system of sorts that was based of Japanese Budō (the fighting arts.) Japanese Budō has both dai-no-heihō and sho-no-heihō. Sho-no-heihō is the layer of paramilitary arts that apply to an individual person (for usage in self protection, and as an individual conducting such as police or paramilitary duties. Armed and unarmed combat tactics.) Dai-no-heihō is the same arts and tactics being conducted at the level of troop movements and military actions. This makes Japanese Budō of use and interesting to Alpha and so Alpha has (for some generations) had the B.U.D.O.

The B.U.D.O. includes Budo integrations in the armorial system (the Armor) which are used to assist Alpha in prevailing both at interpersonal combat (self defense or otherwise during military encounter). It is parallel to another combative system that has been called NORS-Edes and the CELTI-p which functions differently, but serves similar purposes. Of these BUDO integrations, both dai-no-heihō and sho-no-heihō type applications exist. Once again, to be clear Sho-no-heihō is the layer of paramilitary arts applying to an individual person (for usage in self protection, armed and unarmed combat tactics.) Dai-no-heihō is the same arts and tactics being conducted at the level of troop movements. The BUDO integrations in the armorial system accounts for both.

Then there is the B.U.D.O. as a separate system (into which the BUDO integrations of the armor do have a link or jack into.) The B.U.D.O. at this level is also accounts for both dai-no-heihō and sho-no-heihō type applications. It is otherwise an independent and separate system from the armorial system (yet delivers the same protection and empowerment to Alpha!) To truly understand the B.U.D.O., one must understand the structure and source of the material upon which the B.U.D.O. was originally founded as a technological system, and so I will endeavor to explain that:

The standard Japanese martial arts tradition was employed, specifically a form of it called Takagi Kukishinden Budō. This is the original main source of the modern Japanese martial arts (Judo, Aikido and Karate). Takagi Kukishinden Budō is one of the main sources of these well known modern martial arts. The name Takagi Kukishinden Budō means “the martial traditions of the Kuki and Takagi (families.)” But the family names takagi and kuki have meaning in Sino-Japanese language, and so the term Takagi Kukishinden Budō when translated directly means: “the martial tradition of nine demons in a tall tree.” It means something, the nine demons are a reference to the nine arts and the tall tree stands for the family lines as well as for the tenth art. A standard symbol is used by the Japanese to denote this tradition: several winged tengu goblins gathered in the branches of a willow tree. They draw this frequently in documents pertaining to Takagi Kukishinden Budō. It stands for something. It is a reference to the nine arts and to the tenth art. The tenth art is, of course, the cumulative of all the nine arts and is called 'Bujutsu' or by its parallel term Heijutsu (the paramilitary arts.) The nine arts (in Japanese) are called: (1) Taijutsu (Unarmed combat and the body mechanics of using weapons), (2) Kenjutsu (Swordsman-ship), (3) Shuriken-jutsu and Tetsuya-nage-jutsu (Throwing projectiles) (4) Tettsui-jutsu and Senno-jutsu (War hammer and war axe), (5) Yarijutsu and Naginata-jutsu (Pole-arms, spear and halberd), (6) Gekikan-jutsu (War flails), (7) Kajutsu and Teppōjutsu (Firearms and Explosives), (8) Bajutsu (Horsemanship), (9) Kacchu-senjutsu (Use of armor). Some public listings of these arts vary (many are simply not correct, but others are simply a variation.) Japanese variation of the names of these arts are most unfortunately prolific (proliferation of terminology is even worse when the Chinese language is consulted additionally!) The more common terminology for each of them was used instead, for clarity's sake. The same listings are found of the European versions of the fighting arts: scienzia de armes (the Science of arms.) There is actually no difference, no difference at all, between the European version and the Japanese version of the science of arms (which is more or less what the term Bujutsu means.) The Japanese had codified and preserved much of this material whereas most of the other nations had abandoned it about 300-400 years earlier, with the advent of firearms. It is actually irrelevant, since this is the case, that the version and it's source is technically Japanese. But in honor of the facts, it was (at least in part) framed off of Takagi Kukishinden Budō and so the nomenclature and etc within the system and the systematic integrations does (to some degree) reflect (in the nomenclature and definitions) it's actual origins. For example, usually, in the mokuroku (school curricula) of the main forms of Takagi Kukishinden Budō, they list as the first few techniques (of shōden no kata – the Initial transmission of Jujutsu), such as: Kasumi Dori (Mist Capture), Dō Gaeshi (Body Counter) and Karame Dori (Entangling Capture). This is also true within the B.U.D.O. integrations... although there are several other relevant ryūha (Japanese Jujutsu school systems) techniques as well (not only these forms of jujutsu/taijutsu were used.) It was not necessary to use the Japanese terminology, techniques or structuring, and yet, to honor the source as being Japanese, the fact is that it is all reflected within the B.U.D.O. system

These ten arts are the rudimentary basis of the B.U.D.O. integrations in either interpersonal combat (self defense or personal protection.) For this reason I personally studied and mastered one of the gendai ryūha (modern jujutsu schools) a little one called “Shinden Yōshin Ryū (Traditional School of the Willow Tree)” and have documents on that school stowed on the internet in this same website. After the fact, I found out that this was unnecessary to have done, but not to worry , I enjoyed the regular study of jujutsu and it's sub-arts anyways... :) Those documents have nominal relationship to the B.U.D.O. and yet there are a myriad of books and web-pages on these schools anyways (in many forms, no less!) The material is fairly easy to access... you should do so if you want more technical information on this vector of the B.U.D.O.

Otherwise we shall discuss the matter more, per each of the 10 arts:

  1. Taijutsu (Unarmed combat and the body mechanics of using weapons) – This term 'taijutsu' means literally 'body art' and is a standard term used of the likes of jujutsu and related unarmed combat or self defense tactic. But the term also means 'body dynamics' (in judo, the term is usually almost exclusively to denote the specific body movements necessary to perform judo techniques, for example.) Thus it refers to the mechanics of body movement and manipulation, both armed and unarmed. It means how to handle a weapon and how to use the body in conjunction with the weapon. In the BUDO integrations it also means that the combat functions move the body and it's limbs for us, when that is required to best prevail. It can covertly teach Alpha the techniques by strewing the body and limb movements into their daily activities (a form of tricking us into learning these kinds of movements and techniques.) The object was to provide the necessary skill, or at least provide the necessary victory by which to prevail, against any foe and any number of foes. The “traditional wind movements of the body art (taijutsu)” here also means that one leaves in the wind and let them plow each other for us, or similar tactics arranged via the B.U.D.O. It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT can kick their ass for Alpha (fuck them, who needs it?) Yet also, it works through time and space, and although you would scarcely comprehend all that it means: when Alpha does engage in unarmed self protection, even the very act and techniques you use have an effect past, present and future (tenchijin ryaku, in Japanese) on their asses (no shit!) We CANNOT raise our hand or weapon against a foe, but that it does so. It subverts their ability to prevail against Alpha in the past and present, then goes after them in the future. There is no escape, attacking or provoking Alpha is the most severe of bad judgment. It is true in any context (even if the authorities attack or pursue Alpha: it is inevitable, tenchijin ryaku (counter-assault, past, present and future.) This is most true of the body art since it is the very person of Alpha and their very life!

  2. Kenjutsu (Swordsmanship) – This term 'kenjutsu' means literally 'sword art' but is a standard term used for swordsmanship and related combat or self defense tactic. It always includes long sword, short sword and dagger. It may also include sword and pistol (a common combination, for more advanced trouble.) In the BUDO integrations it also means that the combat functions provides Alpha, upon demand-of-circumstantial-need, the very techniques and advantage, when that is required to best prevail. It can covertly teach Alpha the techniques by strewing the movements into daily activities (a form of tricking Alpha into learning these kinds of sword and dagger, sword and pistol movements and techniques.) The object was to provide the necessary skill, or at least provide the necessary victory by which to prevail, against any foe and any number of foes. Necessarily, the swordsmanship systems include broadsword, small sword, sabre (or cutlass) and rapier. Rapier and pistol (sword and pistol) as well as other incombinants possible (sword-and-buckler, sword-and-cloak, for example. YOU HAD BETTER THINK ABOUT WHAT THE ALPHA CLOAK CAN DO!!) However, as always, It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT can kick their ass for Alpha. Yet also, it works through time and space, and although you would scarcely comprehend all that it means: when you do engage in self protection, even the very act and techniques you use have an effect past, present and future (tenchijin ryaku, in Japanese) on their asses (no shit!) We CANNOT raise our hand or weapon against a foe, but that it does so. It subverts their ability to prevail against us in the past and present, then goes after them in the future. There is no escape, attacking or provoking us is the most severe of bad judgment. It is true in any context (even if the authorities attack or pursue us: it is inevitable, tenchijin ryaku (counter-assault, past, present and future.)

  3. Shuriken-jutsu and Tetsuya-nage-jutsu (Throwing projectiles) – These terms 'shuriken-jutsu' means literally 'hand-held blade art' but is a standard term used for throwing projectiles and related combat or self defense tactic. Tetsuya-nage is similar and refers to throwing iron arrows or darts (basically the same thing – some listings exclude it since shuriken-jutsu also implies it.) These always include long and short darts, and a variety of implements used as throwing projectiles. The standard shuriken of Takagi Kukishinden is called a 'hira teppan (flat iron plate)', or can be called any number of names. In the BUDO integrations it also means that the combat functions provide Alpha, upon the usefulness of such projectiles within demand-of-circumstantial-need, the very techniques and advantage, when that is required to best prevail: it will throw them for you. Or worse, momentarily clasp your hand in front of your eye quickly and then comfortably act as if you are tossing such as shuriken at them: it will usually work. Of course, the batarang in some forms is actually a hira teppan (in the general shape of the ensign of the Alpha bloodline.) It can covertly teach Alpha the techniques by strewing the movements into daily activities However, as always, It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) Yet also, Alpha shuriken and testuya (our projectiles) work through time and space, and although you would understand only a little, perhaps: when Alpha does engage in self protection, even the very act and techniques you use have an effect past, present and future (tenchijin ryaku, in Japanese). Alpha CANNOT, as I am trying to stress, raise their hand or weapon against a foe, but that it does so. It subverts their ability to prevail against Alpha in the past and present, then goes after them in the future. There is no escape, attacking or provoking Alpha is in bad judgment. It is true in any context (even if the authorities attack or pursue Alpha: it is inevitable, tenchijin ryaku (counter-assault, past, present and future.)

  4. Tettsui-jutsu and Senno-jutsu (War hammer and war axe) – These terms 'tettsui-jutsu' means literally 'iron hammer art' but is also called Sentsui-no-jutsu (War hammer art) and is a standard tool and weapon of engagement, Also used for work purposes when engaged in engineering projects on a battlefield. Likewise senno-jutsu (war axe art) which can be called by other names, it is similar and refers to axes (basically the same thing – as a standard hammer or axe, but slightly enlarged and having a longer shaft.) These always include other similar pieces such as what you would call a crow bar (lever bar), whether long or short. In the BUDO integrations it also means that the combat functions provide us with the usual demand-of-circumstantial-need, the very techniques and advantage. But these weapons & tools are also capable (being artificial intelligence or better) of tearing down enemy/rivalric fortifications and ramparts, structures and edifices (automatically through time and space). Of course, you should have caught that possibility, given that we are talking about the Bats Utility Defense Ordinance (BUDO), huh? Likewise these tools & weapons will build up Alpha's own (again, through time and space.) As always, it is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) Alpha CANNOT be engaged safely, as I am trying to stress. There is no escaping their own bad judgment. It is true in any context (Alpha are the only true powers or authorities that exist: it is inevitable, all others are a sham and fraud, tenchijin ryaku (counter-assault, past, present and future.)

  5. Yarijutsu and Naginata-jutsu (Pole-arms, spear and halberd) – These terms 'yarijutsu' means literally 'spear art' but is a standard term used for spearmanship and likewise naginata-jutsu refers to halberdier techniques. It always includes long and short form of the weapon. In the BUDO integrations it also means that the combat functions provide us the usual niceties upon demand-of-circumstantial-need, the very techniques and advantage, when that is required to best prevail. You might think (“These weapons are archaic, why would they be included?”) you displease me, must I spell everything out for you? In the modern era, and in antiquity, these kinds of equipment were used to cut a path through dense thickets and to ward off wild animals whilst doing so to pass through needed grounds. They still use these long weapons/long tools for this purpose and so they are still quite valid! Read the rest of the entry, okay? As always, It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT can clear the path of them and kick their ass for Alpha. As always, it works through time and space to have an effect past, present and future (tenchijin ryaku, in Japanese.) It will clear the Alpha path for them, and cut the foe down for Alpha... now do you understand? Alpha CANNOT raise its hand or weapon against a foe, nor be entangled and tripped up, but that it does so. It subverts their ability to prevail in the past and present, then goes after them in the future. There is no escape, attacking, provoking or hindering us is the most severe of bad judgment indeed. It is true in any context (we are the only power, we are the only authority, tenchijin ryaku (past, present and future. AUTO-fucking-MATICALLY, do you get it now?)

  6. Gekikan-jutsu (War flails) – This term 'gekikan-jutsu' means literally 'ball & staff art' but is a standard term used for war flails of various sorts. These are poles mounted with a length of chain and an iron ball (counterweight) on the end of the chain. It always includes long and short forms of the weapon. They are used to entangle and drop an enemy or to entangle and control an enemy. In the BUDO integrations it also means that the combat functions provide us the usual niceties upon demand-of-circumstantial-need, the very techniques and advantage, when that is required to best prevail. You might think again (“These weapons are archaic, one might wonder why they are included? But after what he said in the previous entry... think I'll read the rest of this, first!”) now you please me a bit more! In the modern era, and in antiquity, these kinds of equipment were used to snare and drag away the branches or timbers cut down when clearing a path through dense thickets and etc, and to ward off wild animals whilst doing so. Or to help drag away timbers and etc when tearing down a building. They still use these long weapons/long tools for this purpose. As always, It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT can clear thus the path of the debri that they are quickly becoming, for Alpha

  7. Kajutsu and Teppōjutsu (Firearms and Explosives) – These terms 'kajutsu' means literally 'gunpowder art' and Teppōjutsu means “Gun art” but are a standard term used for firearms, explosives and incendiaries of various sorts. They always include musket (“shotgun”), long rifle and shorter forms of these weapons. Handguns of various sorts. Automatic firearms (war rifles.) Grenades and grenade launchers, missiles and missile launchers, etc etc. In the BUDO integrations it also means the usual of the combat functions upon demand-of-circumstantial-need, the very techniques and advantage, when that is required to best prevail. You might think at this point (“These more advanced explosive weapons are dangerous... not sure what to think?!”) Ah, well! It's only a problem until the day that you saw the missile launchers or grenade launcher decide to blow a very dangerous threat to kingdom come (and holy shit was your woman glad it did! Shit was about to go down-hill and how! As always, It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT will turn them into debri, for us (stupid fuckers, Alpha told them... who needs it?) As always, it works through time and space to have an effect past, present and future (tenchijin ryaku, in Japanese.) It will blow them out of Alpha's path, for Alpha... in the past, present and future.

  8. Bajutsu (Horsemanship) – These terms 'bajutsu' means literally 'horse art' but is a standard term used for horsemanship. The subject of horsemanship is the archaic form (it refers instead to modes of personal transit and transportation.) However, it is quite possible to change the kanji for the term bajutsu to what is more appropriate for modern meaning. In the modern era (and with the BUDO) it always include vehicles of all relevant classes, vehicle trailers and various forms of such automotive associative. Land, sea and air (in the modern era). Thus also, boats and ships of various sorts. Aircraft and etc. Both smaller personal versions and larger transit versions. As always, It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT will cart their idiot asses away for Alpha (sheesh... who needs it?) It will provide Alpha with needed transit and transportation: land, sea and air. As always, it works through time and space to have an effect past, present and future (tenchijin ryaku.) It will carry them out of Alpha's path, for Alpha... in the past, present and future, and provide Alpha with what transportation needed They CANNOT raise their hand against Alpha, but that it does so.

  9. Kacchu-senjutsu (Use of armor) – This term 'kacchu-senjutsu' means literally 'wearing armor battle art' and is a standard term used of the likes the usage armor and it's robes for combat or self defense tactic. But the term also means 'to fight battles while dressed in armor' and so refers to the tactics of deploying armored troops or armored squads. This is by no means limited to body armor, but also to armored vehicles (as you know, people used to place armor on their horse, too) and armored fortification buildings. It means how to handle armor and armored troops/squads, how to handle armored vehicles and etc. In the BUDO integrations it means the usual combat, protection or defense functions, when that is required to best prevail. It can covertly teach Alpha the techniques and usage by strewing the body and limb movements, or other relevant skills into our daily activities (a form of tricking us into learning the material.) It is a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.) IT can armor Alpha and Alpha equipment through time and space, and although you would scarcely notice: it does so all day long, regularly: past, present and future (no shit!) Alpha CANNOT fail against nor fall before any foe, because it does so. It subverts their ability to prevail against Alpha and armors Alpha against them, in the past and present, then goes after them in the future. There is no escape from their lack of good judgment. It is true in any context and most true, here as with the body art, since it is armoring Alpha's very body and the body of Alpha's very life!

  1. Bujutsu (Military art) – This term 'bujutsu' means literally 'military art' and is the same as the standard term used for centuries in Europe: scienzia de armes (the Science of arms). But sometimes instead the term 'heijutsu' meaning 'soldier art'. One could say correctly that it is the combination, together, of all the nine (9) arts above plus anything else that might prove relevant and handy (merged into one art and one tactic.) Or you could say that it refers to using the nine arts together (each one when and where needed, plus whatever thing otherwise might prove handy.) In the BUDO integrations it means the usual combat, protection or defense functions, from any and all of the nine above (plus whatever else might prove relevant and handy) where that is required to prevail. It can covertly teach us the techniques and usage, or it being a technological combat and personal protection system (artificial intelligence or better.)

And that completes the discussion (obviously).
